POWDER FREERIDE is Japan's oldest and most free-spirited freeride competition, gaining many fans and repeat participants. This season, new members, such as the BONZ crew, have joined the organization, further upgrading the event.
While the main focus is on competing in powder skiing skills and style, there will also be freeride gear test rides and fitting sessions, as well as a lecture by POW JAPAN, on the day of the competition and the day after. There will also be a session where you can ski with famous riders.

Freeride Test Ride
You can try out the freeride in the middle of the powder season, and get real information and advice from professional riders.
Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Participation Fee: Free for participants (bib required),
1,000 yen for general participants
Freeride Session (16th only)
A session where you can ski with professional riders, receive advice, and watch their performances.
Each rider will be accompanied by approximately 10 people.
Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM / 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Participation Fee: Free for competition participants (bib required)

●POW Talk
We will welcome Goro Komatsu, representative of POW JAPAN, to discuss themes that we would like to consider with all winter lovers, from children to adults, while also discussing the activities of POW JAPAN to date, such as the impact of climate change on light snowfall and the season, and how skiers and snowboarders can address this issue and what they can do.
