POW JAPAN is looking for staff to work for companies and ski resorts! We are looking for partners to protect snowy mountains from climate change

Protect Our Winters Japan (POW JAPAN), an environmental organization that works to protect winter sports fields from climate change, has begun recruiting for new "corporate and ski resort staff."

POW is an international environmental organization founded in 2007 by professional snowboarder Jeremy Jones in the United States, and its Japanese branch was established in 2019 based in Omachi City, Nagano Prefecture. It continues to work to combat climate change in collaboration with the entire outdoor industry, including the ski and snowboard industry

The position being recruited for will involve the management of the Sustainable Resort Alliance (SRA), a framework that promotes collaboration between companies and ski resorts and aims to create sustainable resorts, as well as partnership building and project planning. While work will primarily be done from home, face-to-face activities in the Tokyo area and ski resort areas will also be planned as necessary

Main recruitment requirements

Position: Corporate/ski resort staff.
Main duties: Partner collaboration, SRA management, planning and promotion, industry network building, etc.
Work style: Full-time/part-time (negotiable, approximately 20-30 hours per week, flexible working hours)
. Work location: Primarily work from home (possibly in Omachi City or Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture, or the Tokyo area).
