Returning to the basics: "TSUTOMU ENDO SOLO EXHIBITION"

Tsutomu Endo has been involved in snowboarding as a photographer based in Omachi, Nagano Prefecture. In recent years, he has made numerous expeditions to the Arctic Circle, capturing his interactions with the indigenous people who live there and publishing his work. In 2024, he was recognized for his drive and overwhelming expressive power, receiving the Tsuneko Sasamoto Photography Award

However, his roots lie in the snowboarding community. This exhibition returns to his roots and explores new possibilities for photographic expression. The exhibition also aims to reexamine his roots by reconstructing the vast amount of footage he shot from the 1990s to the early 2000s as artwork

Looking back at the past and looking to the future to express the present, we hope you will come and see these works that will have a major impact on the snowboarding scene
