THE NORTH FACE Athlete Kazushige Fujita's talk show "LAY BACK" will be held on October 25th

"LAYBACK" - The word "laid back" is derived from the phrase "laid back" and refers to the act of letting yourself flow and creating a fun place or time. As the name suggests, the destination for today or tomorrow is not yet decided. Entrust yourself to the local people, the weather, and your mood that you meet at that time, and enjoy the moment to the fullest

The story centers around THE NORTH FACE athlete Kazushige Fujita, who travels to unfamiliar lands and takes him on a "LAY BACK" journey filled with many encounters and discoveries through snowboarding. A special movie compiling this "as is" journey will be screened on October 25th, along with a talk show about the journey. The event will be held at THE NORTH FACE Mountain [ MAP ].
Guests will include video director Yuta Watanabe and Die Go, editor-in-chief of snowboard magazine DIGGIN' MAGAZINE.

[LAY BACK]
LAY BACK, a new freestyle snowwear collection for all riders who enjoy playing in the snow, will be launched this fall/winter season.

[Profile of Kazushige Fujita]
Born in Kyoto Prefecture in 1988. He started skiing in the early grades of elementary school before moving on to snowboarding. His interest in freestyle grew, and in 2009 he won "The Slope" on his first appearance. He quickly became the center of media attention, and then entered the world of freeriding. His signature style is his one-of-a-kind, flowing skiing across the snow. He also takes videos and photographs with his own camera, and is active in a wide range of fields, including promoting the guide service "SNOWSURF HAKUBA" and winter brands.

[Profile of Yuta Watanabe]
Representative director of Denpa Inc. Originally a THE NORTH FACE athlete, he was active in snowboarding, mainly in the Canadian backcountry scene. He then switched to film direction, aiming to create works that deepen the connection between nature and people. In the past, he directed THE NORTH FACE documentaries "Holocene" and "The Kingdom of Snow," both of which were selected for the Banff Mountain Film Festival.

[Die Go Profile]
Editor-in-Chief of snowboard magazine "DIGGIN' MAGAZINE." Resides in the Kanto region. In addition to publishing three issues per year, he also began directing its sister magazine "DIGG," which focuses on youth culture, two years ago. Despite having lived a deadline-chasing, low-pressure-chasing lifestyle for 25 years, he still travels to areas close to snowboarding fields all over Japan during the winter, almost never returning to the Kanto region, making him an extremely specialized, hands-on, average snowboarder.
