Ice Village is a town made entirely of ice and snow that appears only on winter nights. This Tomamu winter spectacle, which features 11 ice and snow domes, including an "Ice Bar" and an "Ice Restaurant," will open on December 10th in an even more powerful version this year.
The Ice Church, which has hosted over 660 weddings in the past 20 years, has been renovated
The Ice Church is a special church that appears for about a month in the winter. Since its opening in 2005, over 660 couples have held their ceremonies there.
The church was made from a single, seamless piece of ice, with the hope that the couple's pure feelings will continue uninterrupted. Everything, from the altar and cross to the aisle and chairs, is made of ice and snow. The highly transparent ice created by the harsh winter climate reflects light, and the entire space is enveloped in a fantastical light known as "ice blue."
This year, to commemorate the 20th anniversary, a new design has been implemented, allowing guests to surround the bride and groom in 360 degrees. This creates a moving wedding style that creates a sense of unity while being watched over by the guests. Anyone can visit during the opening period.

Tour times: 17:45, 19:45, 21:45 (approximately 10 minutes each)
The Ice Museum opens, unraveling the history and story of the Ice Church
The new "Ice Museum" will allow you to experience the story of the Ice Church in greater depth as it celebrates its 20th anniversary.
While looking at the model and past photos of the Ice Church, you can learn about its 20-year history, the story behind its creation, and its charm. If you stop by before visiting the church, you will learn about its history and background, and your impression of the sight unfolding before your eyes will be even more profound.
