Tsugaike Mountain Resort, whose opening had been postponed due to a lack of snow, has suddenly reopened on Monday, December 1, 2025, due to improved slope conditions.
To commemorate the opening of the slopes and the start of the season, for the week until Friday, December 5, a special discount will be offered on a one-day pass for adults, from the usual 8,200 yen to 4,900 yen, and for children (elementary school students), from 4,900 yen to 3,100 yen. Furthermore, for the week following that, a discounted season-in rate will be offered (6,100 yen for adults / 3,800 yen for children) until Friday, December 12.
The skiable course is located at the top of Tsugaike at an altitude of 1,700m, on the "Tsuganomori Slope", which is surrounded by virgin forest and offers a mountainous atmosphere and great views.
Restaurants, rentals, and shops are open, but the foot bath, a specialty of Tsugaike Yokocho at the foot of the mountain, is currently in preparation.
