Ai Sato
Kiyotsu Lakeside Lodge, a skiers' lodge in Mitamata, Yuzawa-machi, Niigata Prefecture . From an early age, she was immersed in alpine skiing, surrounded by the mountaineers who gathered at the lodge. After a stint as a working adult in the Kanto region, she became the owner of her family's Lakeside Lodge 15 years ago. Taking over the idea of "an inn where guests can have fun and share the fun," she provides a place of relaxation where anyone can come and relax, always smiling. At the same time, she is a contract rider for Haglofs, HEAD, GIRO, and others, skiing on snowy mountains both in Japan and abroad, and is active in advertising and the media.

Tomomi Oike
Chamingo, located within Hakuba Norikura Ski Resort . Growing up in an environment where the ski resort was just a doorstep away, she began skiing at a young age and competed in alpine and park skiing competitions. In her late 20s, she discovered the appeal of backcountry skiing. She competed in the Hokkaido Kiroro Powder Ride Championship, winning three consecutive championships. After traveling to the United States to train, she began skiing overseas, experiencing the glaciated mountains of Alaska, Argentina, and Canada. Six years ago, she moved back to her family's home and runs the lodge with her husband, fellow skier Takuma Oike. She also aims to foster freestyle skiing, and is a core member of JAPAN FREE RIDE OPEN and Chanmero Freeride. In 2022, she gave birth to a child and is currently exploring ways to create an environment where people can ski while raising their child.
