Based in Niseko, photographer Watanabe Yoichi has photographed the world's most famous snow-capped mountains while skiing.
This year, he will be holding a photo exhibition named after his 2020 photo book "Yukimori: The Essence of the Winter Forest." This year,
the venue will be Tokyo for the first time, at SLOPE GALLERY in Shibuya.
The exhibition will run through December, and a talk show will also be held on Friday, December 3rd (8:00 PM - 9:00 PM, admission fee required, reservations required).
Taking a moment to contemplate the snowy forest in the heart of the city is sure to make this winter even more enjoyable.

Photographer Yoichi Watanabe will be holding a photo exhibition. This year marks 25 years since he moved to Kutchan, Hokkaido, and
since his mid-20s, he has been based in Niseko, taking photographs while skiing down the world's most famous snow-capped mountains. In recent years, he
has rediscovered the wonder of Japan's natural environment, and continues to

This exhibition, entitled "Yuki Mori - The Essence of the Winter Forest, Tokyo," is being held in conjunction with the publication of a photo book of the same title
exhibition that began at the Minamiuonuma Tomioka White Museum (Niigata) in December 2020, and continues with a local exhibition held at GENTEM CAFE & GALLERY in Niseko in September
, and marks the artist's first appearance in Tokyo. A carefully selected selection of works from "Yuki Mori" will be exhibited and sold.
