Yu Sasaki
traveled to Whistler, Canada, and was impressed by the authentic skiing. This inspired him to aim to become a professional skier, and he continued to hone his skills. He competed in the FWT, the world's top freeride competition, and placed 4th at the 2019 FWT Hakuba. From his own experience, he realized the importance of young people "experiencing the real thing overseas," and with a new mission to nurture the next generation of skiers and become a bridge to the world, he plans to run a camp based in Revelstoke, Canada.
