Introducing the "sato" and "sato bride" resort models with a 90mm waist! | '25-26 BLACKCROWS

We asked BLACKCROWS, a core brand originating from Chamonix in the European Alps, about next season's plans at JSP SNOW EXPO JAPAN 2025 (held February 12-13, 2025 at Pacifico Yokohama)

All models will undergo a cosmetic change in the 2025-2026 season

BLACKCROWS is a freeski brand founded in Chamonix, France in 2006. The graphics on their skis are inspired by the rare bird known as the "Alpine Crow," which lives around Chamonix and is the origin of the brand's name. Each year, they offer striking graphics. Next season, all models will be undergoing cosmetic changes, with the new design concept being "magic of optics—the wonders of light and vision." The design is inverted from the topsheet to the sole, seamlessly transitioning to create a mysterious sensation

The unique "sato" and "sato bride" have been added to the lineup

The first new models from BLACKCROWS for the 2025-2026 season are the "sato" and "sato bride." These models are designed for flat terrain and resorts, a rarity for BLACKCROWS, which focuses on big mountain and freeski models from Chamonix, Europe's most famous mountainous area. The waist is 90mm

Ideal for resort skiers who want to glide lightly and cruise freely down the slopes. The medium flex makes it easy to handle and adapts to any skier's style. It also has strong edge grip and excels at high-speed carving. It offers a moderate range of play while remaining stable, making it suitable for a variety of terrain and conditions, even in fresh snow

At BLACKCROWS, the "Bride" is positioned as a ladies' model, but since it has the same functionality and performance but a shorter length range, there are many male skiers in Japan who intentionally choose to ride the Bride

"Camox" and "Camox Bride" are renewed to their fourth generation

camox|D=133-93-120 (175.2cm)|R=18m(175.2cm)|L=169.1,75.2,182.1,188.3cm

The renowned all-mountain ski, "Camox," has undergone a new evolution and entered its fourth generation for the 2025-2026 season. With a shorter radius (turn radius), more consistent flex, and a more responsive pivot, it offers more intuitive handling than the previous model, significantly improving the riding feel. Inheriting its freestyle DNA, it offers a light and versatile ski that excels in any terrain. The Camox color and the design that flows from the top sheet to the sole are cool. Similarly, the "Camox Bride" has been renewed into its fourth generation

Gen Sasaki becomes the first Japanese player to join a global team

Gen Sasaki, a freeskier from Niseko, Hokkaido, is the first Japanese to join the BLACKCROWS global team. He represents Japan in freestyle skiing and competes in slopestyle and big air competitions both in Japan and overseas. He is the first Japanese athlete to appear in an MSP (Matchstick Productions) production, and the first Japanese athlete to be selected for SMITH's Athlete Collection and have a signature model released. He is an athlete who has attracted attention and made remarkable progress

In November 2014, he announced the change of materials to BLACKCROWS, saying, "I found it interesting and valuable to spread the word about a brand that is still relatively unknown in Japan." His current favorite is the "anima," which he likes for its stiffness, providing excellent traction and stability even on rough slopes. Expectations are high that he will bring a breath of fresh air to BLACKCROWS, utilizing his experience as a Niseko local in big mountains
