Introducing the new "BLUR" series as the successor to DISRUPTION

There is a "BLUR" graphic on the tail. As you can see, the new "BLUR" series is available in seven models

In the 2025-2026 season, the "BLUR" series will debut, inheriting and further developing the outstanding performance of the legendary carving ski, the DISRUPTION. The DISRUPTION was developed with the aim of redefining the "on-piste carving performance" of skis, and its arrival had an impact that repainted the brand image of K2 SKI, which had previously been strongly associated with big mountain and freestyle skiing

Its emphasis on edge grip and stability at high speeds, combined with its ease of handling despite its metal construction, earned it high praise. The "BLUR" was released as its successor in the 2025-2026 season. The lineup, which incorporates new functionality in addition to the technology inherited from the DISRUPTION, is designed with a strong focus on on-piste carving and consists of four models: XT, 74, 76, and 79. While the XT is unisex, the 74, 76, and 79 are available in both men's and women's styles

Features of BLUR

The following technologies and special materials are incorporated into BLUR, giving it unique performance characteristics. It is also worth noting that BLUR actively uses materials that reduce the burden on the environment

  • K2 H Beam:
High-strength titanium is arranged in an H-shape from the tip to the tail of the ski, optimizing power transfer and providing stable performance.
  • Bio Resin
is an eco-friendly resin material that reduces the environmental impact of its manufacturing process, improving the durability and responsiveness of the skis.
  • Flax Shield:
By using flax, a natural material with excellent vibration absorption properties, unnecessary vibrations are effectively suppressed, resulting in a comfortable ride.
  • AMAG Recycled Titanal:
Featuring AMAG, a metal layer made from recycled titanium, AMAG improves the stiffness and durability of the ski.

Explanation and video of K2 team athlete "Puccho" competing in the technical competition

Since the release of DISRUPTION, K2 has expanded into the world of basics. They have formed a team to take on technical challenges. Suzuki Hiroki, also known as "Puccho," is one of the team members. He test drove the BLUR and posted a video on his YouTube channel

He also provided a comment to the editorial department

The "BLUR" is a very lightweight and nimble ski that provides excellent stability and rigidity during turns, making it a ski that can be enjoyed in any type of snow

The skis are good enough for the first-grade technical and crown level tests. They're essentially all-mountain models, but they're light, stable, and easy to handle, so they're good enough for the prize exams, and can also be enjoyed on spring snow or in deep snow
