WAPAN, which launched in 2017, continues to gain fans with its unique worldview. One of its charms is its original "Japanese patterns." New eye-catching graphics have been announced for the 2025-2026 season
The 2025-2026 season will feature three different graphics
Since the brand's inception, WAPAN has been popular for its bold, Japanese-inspired graphics, as its name suggests. WAPAN continues its unique approach, allowing customers to choose their preferred graphic for each model and size, such as "I," "R," or "H." For the 2025-2026 season, three new graphics by three new artists will be released. Until now, each design was created by one designer, but by employing three artists, the graphics have three different styles, and the diverse expressions and message have expanded

We will introduce the three new graphics, "HOMRA," "SUZUME," and "SHIRASAGI," as well as the motifs and artists

HOMURA
"Homura" are flames and demons, depicting the flames worn on Acala's back to purify impurities and burn away hungry ghosts. Take a closer look at the details. The graphic combines ancient Japanese tradition with a sophisticated feel. It was designed by Yamanaka Tomoaki, a creator who has attracted attention from all quarters, including for his illustrations for the paperback edition of "Jinkan" by Imamura Shogo.

The SUZUME
motif is a sparrow. Tears well up in the eyes of the sparrow as it flies powerfully. The design expresses the idea that it is small yet powerful. What's more, the background of the graphic features a design based on Ainu patterns, which adds a stylish touch. The design was created by Degarashi, a snowboarder living in Okoppe, eastern Hokkaido.

SHIRASAGIThe
white egret, a symbol of Japanese art since ancient times, is depicted with gentle lines and modern pop colors. The image of the egret standing in the silent snow is beautiful. The design was created by HALUBE, a local snowboarder and designer from Zao, Yamagata. He also works as an influencer and has been appointed as a PR ambassador for Zao.
'25-26 season lineup

I(I) Powder Free ride model

The "I" is a fat model with a center width of 122mm that excels in powder. The large, smooth rocker on the nose and tail ensures excellent buoyancy in deep powder, allowing for a comfortable surf ride with big spray. Despite its big fat size, it has a strong glide feel, allowing you to drift and handle any slope, and its radius of around 20m provides sufficient maneuverability even in tight tree runs in Japan. You can choose from three graphics: "HOMURA," "SUZUME," and "SHIRASAGI."
RO (Ro) All Mountain model

The "RO" is an all-mountain model with a center width of 105mm, and stands out for its versatility. The nose and tail rocker make it easy to initiate turns, and the solid camber underfoot makes it a lightweight all-rounder that utilizes its rebound power for easy maneuverability. It's suitable for any situation, from powder, tree runs, piste runs, hitting objects, and butter tricks. The 191cm and 161cm sizes, added in the 2024-2025 season, have also been well-received and will continue to be available in the lineup. Choose from three graphics: "HOMURA," "SUZUME," and "SHIRASAGI."
HA(Ha) Free Style Park model

The "HA" is a freestyle and park model with a 90mm center, twin tip, and little camber. The overall sticky flex supports landings on kickers, and the good weight balance makes it effective for jib tricks. The 2.5mm thick, durable edge gives you peace of mind even when riding tough on boxes and rails. You can choose from three graphics: "HOMURA," "SUZUME," and "SHIRASAGI."
HO is carryover

The "HO" is an all-mountain model with a center width of 100mm. The 2025-2026 HO will feature a carryover graphic from the 2024-2025 model in all sizes. Customers can choose from three popular graphic designs: "MATSU," "HEBI," and "DARUMA2."
