ARMADA has announced to the world their new boots, the ARMADA AR One Ski Boots, as "a revolutionary design that is a first in the history of skiing and an industry first." They also announced that "Finally, a hard-working freeride boot has been born that is free from the 'torture-like feel' feeling." What exactly is it? We spoke to ARMADA staff member Masahiro Murai at the test ride venue in April to find out
Explaining the "ARMADA AR One Ski Boots"! First of all, let's watch the video

The features that "AR One" boasts are as follows:
1. Hybrid Cabrio Design
The AR One is an industry-first, innovative design that combines the comfort of a 3-piece cabriole boot with the high performance benefits of a traditional 4-buckle model. It eliminates the drawbacks of previous 3-piece designs, such as loose heel hold and heel lift, and supports the smooth forward lean movement that freeskiers desire with the flexible flex that allows the ankle to be used freely
2. Excellent heel piece hold thanks to the "Slingshot Buckle"

The Slingshot Buckle is an innovative buckle system developed exclusively by ARMADA. It uses multi-vector tension to firmly wrap around the entire foot and pull the heel firmly back, providing a secure hold without any uncomfortable pressure
Most conventional boots tighten the front of the ankle but don't provide support up to the heel, but the AR One holds the heel securely without feeling cramped
Whether it's powder, backcountry, park, or groomed runs, the AR One's "natural flex" delivers optimal power and maneuverability for any situation, allowing you to ride the way you want
3. The same rigidity as alpine boots
Although the AR One is a freeride boot, it has the same rigidity as an alpine boot. This is another big attraction for skiers who prioritize riding. The construction of the upper shell around the ankle is very similar to that of a four-buckle alpine boot. While the upper shell of a three-piece boot is generally thin, the AR One is very thick and three-dimensionally formed. This construction utilizes the know-how of two-piece alpine boots, so the ankle is flexible, but the boot does not collapse sideways and has the rigidity to transmit power well
