A mix of carving, freestyle, and freeride characteristics. Armada's new ski, the Stranger, was born from this concept

STRANGER | Stranger
L = 172, 180cm D = 139-100-121 (180)
R = 15.8m (180) W = 2100g (180) 90,000 yen + tax
The name "Stranger" literally translates to "something different." This ski has a core made of a lightweight poplar with dense ash stringers.
It has a 100mm waist width and a deep sidecut, and it has many of the same features as previous Armada skis, such as a nose with a straight taper and edgeless butter zone, and a springboard tail with rocker that makes it easy to pop.

These features allow for easy turns and control. The deep side curve makes it easy to initiate turns, and the soft flex makes it easy to finish the latter part of the turn. The nose is designed in the same way as Armada's famous JJ, providing more than enough buoyancy in powder.
"Never before have we seen skis that have such high carving performance and yet are so easy to ski in powder. Usually, when skiing on fresh snow with skis that have a deep side curve, the skis tend to get caught and are difficult to ski, but these skis have an exquisitely designed nose and tail rocker that makes them easy to ski."
We hope you will experience this unique all-round ski, a new proposal from a long-established freeski brand.
