Teton Bros. has completed the brand's best ever TB Jacket & TB Pant

Teton Bros. has its roots in the world-famous Grand Teton mountain in Wyoming, USA. The outdoor brand was born in 2007 based on extensive feedback from athletes and guides. Teton Bros.'s iconic model, the Tsurugi Jacket, was the first Japanese brand to win the POLARTEC APEX Award, a global award presented by Polartec, the USA company famous for its fleece material. Since then, the name Teton Bros., known for its excellent quality products, has resonated around the world

The model that Teton Bros. is most recommending to users for the 2022-23 season is the "TB Jacket & Pant."

The backcountry-specific "TB JACKET & PANT" has been the brand's flagship model since its founding in 2008. Teton Bros. has distinguished itself as a brand that pursues uncompromising functionality through extensive field testing with professional guides. The brand's concept is "Teton Bros. - Every feature in appearance is functional," and the brand has embodied outstanding functional beauty since its inception and continues to evolve

The TB JACKET & PANT is equipped with features that allow for all types of movement on snowy mountains, such as wide diagonal ventilation for effective ventilation to prevent overheating, three-dimensional cutting that does not restrict body movement, and large cuffs that can be quickly operated even while wearing gloves. These features have been incorporated into the initial model and are still carried over to the present day, with updates in the sense of "maturity" based on the evolution of materials and equipment and feedback from guides and riders

Uses Teton Bros.'s proprietary membrane "Täsmä"

Another major evolution is the adoption of the new breathable waterproof material "Täsmä." "Täsmä" is a proprietary membrane from Teton Bros. that was developed over three years in collaboration with Toray. It is made by layering multiple spider web-like membranes called electrospinning, and its greatest feature is its excellent breathability. Furthermore, it is a highly technical membrane that is crisscrossed with microscopic holes that do not allow water to pass through, allowing for flexible control of breathability and water resistance

While maintaining the same breathability as previous materials, water resistance has been increased by over 5,000 mm. While maintaining its greatest feature, breathability, Täsmä has improved water resistance, durability, and overall flexibility of the garment

In addition, the long ventilation holes in the jacket and pants ensure high ventilation efficiency. The zippers on the chest pocket and ventilation are made of waterproof Vislon, which is resistant to freezing and breakdowns, and is reliable in durability.
In this way, the synergy of materials, cutting, and functionality, and the pursuit of optimization down to the smallest details, have resulted in the creation of the best clothing ever.

Teton Bros. BC Pro Guide | Wear Review by Yuzuru Handa

The TB Jacket & TB Pant are models that have been around since Teton Bros was founded, but they have continued to evolve year after year. Last season, starting with the 21-22 FW shell, the fabric was changed to a new material called "Täsmä." While already excellent in breathability, durability, and waterproofing, this material has been further improved to become much less stuffy while still maintaining a supple feel

I get very hot easily, so when I used other clothing I would often take off my jacket when hiking uphill, but now I almost always keep it on. The wide-opening ventilation, located in a position that doesn't interfere with the backpack harness, allows for ample ventilation just by opening it, and it also lets sweat escape, making it very comfortable

The pants are bib pants, a style that has remained unchanged for a long time. There is a zipper at the waist, which allows you to remove the bibs. In spring, when it gets hot, you can remove the bibs and use them as regular pants. The bib part has a pocket that can be opened and closed with Velcro, and you can put things like a transceiver with an antenna in it. There is also an inner strap in the thigh pocket where you can attach a beacon, and they have many other features that are recommended for backcountry use
