Test ride events for the 2023-2024 new models are now open to users. Test ride events during the peak season have gradually increased since last year, and this year many manufacturers are planning test ride events across the country
Check here for test drive information. Many events require advance registration, so if you want to try out next season's new models, be sure to apply early

On January 14th and 15th, K2, LINE, bca, and MDV's MARKER, DALBELLO, and VOLKL took the lead in holding a joint test ride event at Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort in Hokkaido
K2 and LINE specialize in freeride skis, and offer a wide range of models, including fat skis, twin-tip models, and swallowtail skis, whose potential is difficult to gauge on packed slopes. This is a rare opportunity for users to try out these skis during this time of year when there is plenty of fresh snow
This time, we will introduce the recommended models for next season from each manufacturer. Please keep an eye out for them at future test ride events and exhibitions
The hottest item for next season! New K2 Boa boots are here!
The biggest highlight of the 2023-2024 season is the new redesign of the Recon and Mindbender series boots, which now feature BOA technology. BOA technology is not yet widely used in skiing. It has the advantage of transmitting power more directly than traditional buckle-type boots

The first and second buckles can now be tightened with a wire. This eliminates the sudden tightening around the ankle that occurs with conventional buckle types, allowing you to create a fit that suits you. You can tighten or loosen the buckle by turning each dial
Check out the video to see the features and how to use the new BOA boots
In addition to changing the buckles, the foot base inside the boots has also been carefully designed. The heel part can be replaced with a soft or hard flex part.
The soft type absorbs shock while skiing, reducing strain on the ankle. The hard type allows you to apply force more directly to the snow surface.
Gota Sakamoto recommends the MINDBENDER 106C!
The Mindbender 106C will be released next season. Until now, models with a waist of around 100mm have been made with metal, but this time a carbon fiber type will be released
The carbon fiber is woven to create firm torsion while maintaining a soft flex. It doesn't contain any metal, making it light and easy to handle. This is the kind of model you can enjoy to your heart's content when skiing in powder
Introducing CRESCENDO, the successor to PON2OON
The tail is slightly narrowed, making it easy to sink and create buoyancy. The wide range of 155-132-144mm also makes it a ski designed specifically for powder. It's the kind of ski you can ride with confidence on deep snow days
For those who want to groom on-piste, this is the DISRUPTION series!
The DISRUPTION series is perfect for skiing on groomed runs. This series features two rubber plates called "Dark Matter Damping" on the edge, one at the top and one at the tail. This is a feature exclusive to K2, where the material on the front and back of the board is offset, and the rubber sandwiched between them absorbs vibrations. This feature gives you an amazing feeling of being glued to the snow, making this a highly maneuverable model that allows you to make sharp carving turns
According to Gota Sakamoto, the excellent maneuverability of the boards has been endorsed by the world's World Cup competitors. There are short, middle, and long turn models, so if you're going to be skiing on the slopes, this is a series you should try
