"RANGER" attracting more and more users FISCHER | '23-24 new model information delivered!

We are in the middle of the spring season, which is drawing to a close, and at this time manufacturers are offering various opportunities to unveil their new models for the 2023-24 season, such as product exhibitions and snow test rides

Fischer continues to be a regular on the podium at competitions around the world, such as the W-Cup, but the freeride line's RANGER is also doing very well. This time, we asked about the hottest new models and hot topics for the 2023-2024 season at the test ride event hosted by Pro Shop VAIL (held at Naeba Ski Resort on March 18-19)

The masterpiece "RANGER" will continue into the 2023-2024 season

The RANGER lineup and color scheme are also very popular

Fischer's Ranger freeride line, which underwent a full model change in the 2022-2023 season, has been highly praised by users worldwide and will be continued as a confident product in the 2023-2024 season. The waist width lineup includes five models: 116, 108, 102, 96, and 90 mm, as well as the newly added 84 mm

The secret to the RANGER's superior performance is a titanium sheet called "shaped titanium." This titanium has visible cuts called "flex cuts" for each model. The thinner the sheet, the longer it is cut front to back, and the smaller the flex cut in the center. The thicker the sheet, the shorter the titanium and the larger the flex cut. (Not used on the 84mm model)

The length of the hard titanium sheet allows for better edge control, stability, and carving performance, while the size of the flex cut makes the flex softer and improves maneuverability. By controlling the softness for each model in balance with the thickness of the board, it becomes easier to handle and allows you to ride as you wish

The nose has a rocker shape, and the thicker the board, the stronger the rocker curvature, and the thinner the board, the weaker the rocker. The rocker in the nose makes it easier to initiate turns and improves performance in powder. Models with a center of over 100mm have a particularly light feel when entering turns, but a firm feel from the feet to the tail, allowing you to enjoy a stable powder ride

On the other hand, the 90mm center model has the longest titanium section and is strong on groomed runs. It features carving performance that is comparable to that of alpine skis. The 96mm is perfect for users who want to try powder. The 102mm is a particularly popular model among the size variations. Its selling point is its well-balanced versatility, allowing it to handle any situation, from powder to backcountry to on-piste

The 108mm and 116mm sizes have a twin tip shape. The flex is also softer, providing more buoyancy and a lighter ride in deep powder. The 84mm, which does not contain titanium, has a natural ride feel and is ideal for relaxed riding

"RANGER 102" is the best way to experience "Ski more!"

The RANGER 102 is a one-stop shop for all-mountain riding!

Of all the models, the 102mm is said to be the one that best embodies FISCHER's "Ski more!" concept. Apparently, the Celeste color shown here (pictured) is overwhelmingly the most popular. The RANGER is sure to attract more and more riders, and even those who missed out on it last season will want to try it out in the 2023-2024 season
