This ultra-lightweight backpack is rare for a backcountry backpack, and is made with a lightweight, highly durable material called X-PAC, weighing an astonishing 1,166g! The fabric is quite thin (lol), but the shoulder and waist harnesses fit perfectly from the back, so it feels stable even when carrying a certain amount of weight. In addition to backcountry climbing, this backpack is recommended for those looking for a lightweight alpine backpack for ice climbing, year-round alpine climbing, and regular traverses

The silhouette when worn is so clean that it's hard to believe it's a BC backpack. The avalanche pocket is located at the very front and has a center zipper, so you can conveniently store your stickers. It also has thoughtful details, such as three pockets on the back and a removable goggle pouch

This new backpack model offers a great fit and balance. Backside access allows for smooth operation. It's compatible with skis, snowboards, and snowshoes. Access from the lower side allows you to store skins and crampons in a separate compartment.
Functional details include a zippered pocket on the left side of the waist harness (personally, I would have liked it on both sides... those who don't use the gear loop on the right side can attach an alternative storage bag), a helmet net, and toggles and belts for securing ice axes, poles, etc.
Of course, probes and shovels fit well and are easy to access. It has almost everything you need, yet it's simple, efficient, and I think it's an ideal backpack.

This bag is not too big or too small, making it easy to handle and a great choice for a first backpack. It's extremely comfortable to wear. Another plus is the space at the bottom to store stickers. The 2024-2025 season comes in two colors: navy and orange. The orange is a new color, but it's a slightly muted orange that goes surprisingly well with any outfit. This is a backpack that our staff frequently use

Designed to fit the Japanese physique, the 3DS shoulder straps and 3DET frame reduce the weight of your load and minimize interference with your movement while skiing. The waist harness and compression belts provide a snug fit that wraps around your pelvis, making it comfortable to carry essential items like avalanche gear with reduced strain on your body.
The fabric is made of 100% recycled polyester ECOPAK, achieving lightweight construction while also offering reliable abrasion resistance. Although it has a 25L capacity, it offers more storage than its stated capacity, and a wide range of accessories such as helmet holders and mobile pouches are available separately, allowing for customization to suit the user's preferences.

Capacity: 25L
Weight: 1,040g
Color: BLACK (DESERT, BLACK×STING - 3 colors total)
¥39,600

AMAUTI is said to refer to the large piece of cloth traditionally used by Inuit women to carry babies on their backs. When wearing this backpack, the shoulder and waist belts are fastened and it fits snugly against your back. The capacity is a little small at 25L, so it may not hold enough for full-fledged BC equipment, but it is recommended for lift-access skiing or when carrying only the bare necessities

Minoru Kojiguchi, Staff Member/Mountaineering & Skiing Manager,

This is a new backpack from Teton Bros, developed in collaboration with a Swiss design group. The outer shell is made from a single piece of ripstop nylon fabric, and the shoulder straps and waist straps extend from the outer shell, resulting in a high level of fit and comfort.
By creating a space between the outer shell and the main compartment, you can store items such as climbing skins and insulation for quick access. This is a limited edition item with a special patch, available in limited quantities.

This is a backpack recommended for entry-level users who want to actively use it in the freeriding scene. Its wide back access opening makes it easy to use even for users who are not used to packing. Another notable feature is the backpack's thinness. This minimizes the centrifugal force and resistance that occur when riding. It will be a great ally for your freeriding
