Innovative gear "DUKE PT" that renovates the scene
What hasn't changed since the birth of the DUKE is that it's made for skiers who can jump and trick on natural slopes like the backcountry and push themselves to the limit.
"DUKE PT" inherited that concept. Its strong stiffness and construction set it apart from lightweight tour bindings. If you look at this PV video, you can understand the intentionality that you are targeting.

Compared to the conventional "DUKE", the stand height (the height from the top sheet of the ski to the boot sole) has been lowered from 36mm to 24mm, which is a nice specification. This will be the same height as "JESTER".
The general framework of the system is to hold down the edge of the boot like a conventional alpine binding when gliding, and the tech pin holds the boot when climbing.
The interesting thing is its structure. In the gliding scene, it looks almost the same as an alpine binding, but when switching to hike mode, unlock the toe piece and rotate it forward to reveal a pin tech under the toe piece. By removing the housing, the weight per leg can be reduced by 300g. The following video details the operation situation around here.
This "DUKE PT" is a binding that can be used by strong skiers who can perform jumps and tricks on natural terrain and speed on steep slopes. We have a lineup of two types of open values 16 and 12.
"DUKE" and "JESTER" changed the free ski scene

Founded in 1952, Marker Bindings has a long history and is a well-known brand among skiers who are interested in park riding, free riding, and backcountry skiing.
The epoch-making bindings for these skiers were the DUKE and JESTER released in 2007. The innovation of this binding is that for the first time in history, the vertical toepiece spring is mounted horizontally. This technology has made the bindings more compact and lighter, bringing the center of gravity closer to the center of the ski, making it easier to operate.
The "JESTER", which is a purveyor of park skiers, has a center of gravity closer to the boot and a lighter swing weight, promoting the evolution of tricks.
Freeride skiers welcomed the birth of the dual-purpose binding "DUKE," which allowed them to climb with alpine bindings while drawing out gliding performance. The new "DUKE PT" is a product at the forefront of this evolution.

In addition, the toe and heel pieces in the FREERIDE & FREESTYLE category, including the BARON EPF 13, have undergone a full model change. The toe piece mechanism "Triple Pivot Elite 3 Toe" with strong holding power. Springs are installed laterally to the ski to provide release performance and power transfer. The heel piece is called "inter-pivot 3 heel", and by arranging the spring position vertically, it is possible to step in easily with less force while strengthening the holding power. Since the center of gravity is closer to the boot than before, the swing weight has been further reduced.
In addition, both the RIDE & HIKE and FREERIDE & FREESTYLE categories are equipped with SOLE ID technology that supports Alpine, Tour and Gripwalk standards.

In the TOURING category, the models have become more diverse, and as the choices have expanded, you will be able to understand what kind of field you are looking for and how far you will walk.
