A small group setting cherishes a sense of privacy

Masaaki Sato, who founded TABIYA, leverages his background as a former ski instructor to offer lessons primarily focused on mountain skiing. He provides instruction on techniques such as skinning and other movements while maintaining a small, private atmosphere, allowing participants to enjoy untracked skiing. His aim is to create a guided club similar to a mountain ski school. His motivation is this:

"To enjoy skiing in the mountains, being able to change your skiing style depending on the snow conditions and situation makes it safer. The more physically fit and skilled you are in the mountains, the more you can enjoy skiing regardless of the conditions, so I started this with the hope of helping people avoid difficulties in the mountains."

TABIYA offers tour services centered on tours for beginners, novices, and intermediates. Even if you have backcountry experience, if this is your first time, we recommend you take a half-day tour (called the "Nice to Meet You Tour") to see how well you can actually ski and climb, ensuring a safe tour

Since skiers and snowboarders have different climbing and skiing routes, the tour prioritizes satisfaction and guests are skiers only. They also offer on-slope ski lessons and lesson & tours
