「What is "Endekashi"?

The organizer is Yusaku Nagasawa, a true Hakuba local. After skiing in mountains overseas such as Canada, the United States, and New Zealand, he realized that the mountains of Hakuba were just as good, and he began exploring the mountains of Hakuba extensively, eventually becoming known as the leader of the Nagasawa Exploration Team. Later, he encountered the profession of guiding and started "Endekashi"

The name of the guide club, "Endekashi," is a dialect word from the Otari and Hakuba regions. It comes from the imperative form "kashi," which is formed by adding "kashi" to "ebu," meaning "to walk," and "endeku," meaning "to go on foot." "Endekashi" means going on foot to find a good "hotei" (which is also a dialect word from the Hakuba region for "fresh snow surface")

In the Hakuba area, which is crowded with numerous guide companies, Yusaku Nagasawa, who was born and raised in Hakuba, will guide you on a deep adventure that includes the local climate and culture of Hakuba

"Endekashi" Tour

The tours are rarely too large, so there is little waiting time and they are flexible, which is one of Endekashi's features and appealing points. Always looking for an exploratory spice, sometimes you hit the target and get really excited, and sometimes you end up having to trudge through the bush, but in the end it's usually a great experience

[Why]

"Nase" means "relaxed" or "easy" in the Kotani dialect. This is the perfect place for those trying backcountry skiing for the first time, or those who lack confidence in their physical strength or experience. You can learn the knowledge and skills necessary to enjoy backcountry skiing, from how to use your equipment to how to walk on snow and how to adjust your clothing, all while taking a relaxed tour. The hike will last about an hour.

【Most of the remaining】

This tour is for experienced backcountry skiers and intermediate to advanced skiers who want to ski down the Hakuba area at full speed. We will predict the best conditions based on the weather and snowfall on the day and guide you accordingly. The mountains in the Hakuba area are large in scale and have deep valleys, so sufficient skiing skills, physical fitness, and the ability to avoid danger are necessary. Hiking time: 2-4 hours.
Participation fee: 13,000 yen/person

[Kyontate]

"Kyontate" means steep slope. This is the ultimate course for those perverts... or rather, those who are a little greedy, who want something a bit harder than "Taitenokorase" and want to give the captain a hard time!

We'll guide you to the best conditions of the day, as well as to some of the more challenging routes that the leader wants to try. Sufficient skiing skills, physical fitness, and the ability to avoid danger are required, along with a certain level of experience, so first-timers are not eligible to participate. Please note that we may also decline entries from experienced skiers.
