Fully utilizing the know-how of a traditional specialty store in our guide services
Founded in 1968 in front of Toyama Station as a specialty store for mountaineering equipment, Tyrol has since handled equipment for mountaineering, climbing, backcountry skiing, and canoeing, enabling people to enjoy the mountains and nature safely and comfortably. They have also provided a wide range of mountaineering information and technical advice based on their experience.
Tyrol offers not only carefully selected gear but also "soft" services, with professional mountain guide Iwao Saeki leading various tours throughout the seasons. In winter, they offer backcountry skiing tours in Toyama, including Tateyama, helping everyone from beginners to those aiming for higher peaks to realize their ideal mountain trip.
Private guides are available for up to 3 people per day for 30,000 yen. Package tours start from 11,000 yen per person. Sessions and workshops on ski slopes are also available.
