Tyrol was established in 1968 as a specialty store for mountaineering equipment in front of Toyama Station.
Since its founding, we have been dealing with mountaineering, climbing, backcountry skiing, and canoeing equipment for enjoying mountains and nature safely and comfortably. We have also provided a wide range of mountaineering information and technical advice based on our experience. In Tirol, professional mountain guide Iwao Saeki leads various tours throughout the four seasons, offering not only carefully selected gear but also "soft".
In winter, backcountry ski tours of Tateyama and Toyama are held, making it possible for beginners to those who want to aim higher. A private guide costs 30,000 yen per day for up to 3 people. Planning tours start from 11,000 yen per person. Sessions and workshops on the slopes are also being prepared.

He participated in junior high school, high school and inter-school competitions in competitive skiing.
After that, he devoted himself to competitive canoeing. After winning the national polity, he returned to the mountaineering world. He specializes in mountain ski guides. In the movie "Mt.Tsurugidake: Ten no Ki", he supported the filming as a mountain guide.
