A winter and snow-themed camping event called "Yukigori CAMP" will be held at Maiko Snow Resort in Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture for two days from Saturday, October 23rd to Sunday, October 24th, 2021. Yukigori CAMP is an event where everyone who loves winter can camp together and have fun praying for lots of snow to make this winter a good season
This is the second time we are holding this event, and we have a lineup of exciting and fun content.

The main content is shopping!
The main attraction is shopping! The brand mall will have booths selling snow goods such as ski and snowboard wear, goggles, and gloves, as well as early bird lift tickets for various ski resorts and interactive workshops. The food court will feature food trucks selling delicious local food, sweets, and drinks. This year, there will be no stage events due to the spread of COVID-19, but yoga experiences, a charity auction, film screenings, and fireworks are planned

The impact of COVID-19 has hit the winter industry hard over the past two seasons. Ski resorts, accommodation facilities, ski and snowboard related product sales and rental businesses, transportation companies, travel agencies, advertising and promotion industries, and more are in dire straits. Amidst this, a group of volunteers decided to hold an event that would somehow liven up the winter season, and so Yukigoshi CAMP was launched
Yukigoshi CAMP is a camping festival event for skiers and snowboarders looking forward to the winter season. The event will include sales of skis, snowboards, clothing, goggles, gloves, and other snow gear, as well as ski lift tickets, rider talk shows, workshops, live music, performances by local Minamiuonuma groups, and delicious local food. Both exhibitors and customers can enjoy themselves while camping, praying for a good season and lots of good snowfall. This is the kind of event it is
Last time, we had 500 visitors despite the short notice period. We hope that this event will motivate everyone who loves snowy mountains to ski, lead to the discovery of Minamiuonuma City's charm, and serve as a catalyst for revitalizing the winter industry.
