This campsite is surrounded by a rich environment, including the vast beech forests and birch trees of Mt. Hotaka, and colonies of Renge Azalea, designated a natural monument of Gunma Prefecture. In July 2023, Katashina Hotaka Ranch Campsite will be renovated as OZE-HOSHISORA GLAMPING & CAMP RESORT. Ten new glamping areas will be added, complete with private decks for BBQs and enjoying the night sky

The site also offers craft experiences, mountain bike rentals, and a tent sauna. Warm up your body and soak up the cool breeze of the highlands for a truly relaxing experience

Maiko Resort is easily accessible, just a two-minute drive from Shiozawa Ishiuchi IC. During the summer season, an auto campground appears on the slopes.
