Plenty of activities! Family-friendly "ski resort campgrounds" | 4 recommended in the Shinetsu area

The season is coming to an end, and the mountains are beginning to take on the colors of summer. Many of the closed ski resorts are offering facilities and activities so that you can enjoy them in the summer as well as the winter. Campsites run by ski resorts are a great advantage for skiers who are new to camping

The resort has a system in place to accommodate skiers and snowboarders, so the kitchens, toilets, etc. are relatively clean and easy to use. Although it is in the middle of nature, it is well maintained, which is great for beginners

In ski resorts with hotels attached, you can also use the hotel's shops, large public baths, and hot springs, so you can enjoy camping and more.Another feature of these resorts is that they offer a wide variety of activities in addition to camping

Furthermore, skiers probably feel a sense of security when they visit a place in winter, as it is a place they are familiar with. Even if it is a place they are visiting for the first time, if it is a ski resort in winter, they can indulge in some slightly maniacal fantasies, such as "I wonder what that slope will be like in winter" or "If it snows, that terrain will be interesting."

For skiers, we recommend campsites at ski resorts around the country, both in summer and off-season. Here we've picked out ski resorts where you can enjoy camping and other activities together
