The Alpen Outdoors Flagship Store Kashiwa opened in April 2019 as one of the world's largest flagship stores, covering an area of 7,000 square meters. It is an astounding megastore that carries a whopping 450 brands and has a product lineup of approximately 100,000 items. Located along Route 16 in Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture, it is easily accessible by car, and is said to attract many visitors from Tokyo, especially on weekends
The huge store towering over the national highway features greenery and brick on its exterior walls, creating a truly outdoor atmosphere.
The first floor is the camping floor, where SIS sales areas for brands such as Snow Peak, Coleman, Logos, and DOD are located. The second floor is packed with apparel items from popular brands such as The North Face, Patagonia, and Columbia. There is also a chair and table corner. The third floor is the mountain floor, where skiing, snowboarding, trekking, and more are available.
The vast sales floor has a high ceiling and an open space. There is also a large screen installed inside the store, showing beautiful images of nature. The floor is filled with outdoor goods and displays, so just being there makes you feel like you are in nature, and it's so relaxing. There are so many things you want, and you can't help but feel excited. It's a space where you can play all day long

I'm originally from Ishikawa Prefecture. I hated skiing as a child, but I started alpine racing seriously in junior high school, and became a basic skier upon graduating from university! While I was lost in my unimpressive basic skiing life, I tried mountain skiing and discovered the joy and depth of skiing. Although I'm still inexperienced, I'm currently working hard every day as a salesperson, trying to convey the joy of mountain skiing to as many people as possible.
