Opened in 2014 with the concept of "ENJOY HAKUBA!", roundAbout is a homely, wood-themed snowboard and snow item shop located just a minute's walk from Hakuba Station. The shop is run at its own pace by a family who moved from the city after being captivated by the snowy mountains.
As it's easy to drop in from the field, it's a place where snow lovers of all kinds and fun-loving friends gather, forming a community where they can exchange information on snow conditions and timely local information.
The products are packed with the makers' attention to detail and are a collection of "this is it!" items.

She discovered snowboarding at the age of 16, and until her mid-twenties, her lifestyle revolved around pursuing snow and skiing in Canada, New Zealand, Myoko, Hakuba, etc. She worked at a snowboard shop in Kanda, Tokyo while she was a student, and after graduating from Komori, she gained experience as an editor for a snowboarding magazine before moving to Hakuba at the age of 30. Utilizing her experience up to that point, she opened "roundAbout" in front of Hakuba Station in 2014, working hand in hand with her husband, who was a colleague at the snowboard shop
