Grand Snow Oku-Ibuki Recommended Courses

Mont Blanc

Maximum gradient: 30 degrees, average: 25 degrees / Distance: 500m / Slope orientation: North

After snowfall, this ungroomed course is perfect for powder riding. From the Mont Blanc Pair Lift drop-off point, you ski down the ridge to the left. Facing north, the snow tends to be in good condition. The fact that it can be completed with just one lift is also the secret to its popularity. You can also enjoy a magnificent panorama from the top of the course.

Heavenly 46°

Maximum gradient: 46 degrees, average: 43 degrees / Distance: 400m / Slope orientation: North

With a maximum gradient of 46 degrees, it's the steepest slope in Japan! This is a special spot that only opens when the snow is thick and the conditions are good. When you reach the top, you can't see the bottom because of the steepness, which is a thrilling experience. When fresh powder accumulates here in the morning, you can enjoy a steep and deep ride that would grace the covers of overseas ski magazines.

Sky View Course

Maximum gradient: 20 degrees, average gradient: 13 degrees / Distance: 300m / Slope orientation: -

This course is at the top of the slope (1,250m) and can be reached by taking three lifts from the bottom. You can enjoy tree running in a beautiful primeval beech forest while admiring the spectacular view of the mountains below. There are few people here, so there is a good chance that powder snow will still be there. You can enjoy the trees and powder snow as you spin around on the Sky View Lift
