A local ski resort with natural snow and a homely atmosphere

Sakae Club Ski Resort, located in one of Japan's snowiest areas, is a local ski resort that boasts an abundance of natural snow. Although it is compact with only three lifts, it is loved by many skiers for its diverse nine courses and homey atmosphere.

On weekdays when it snows, the courses are kept as ungroomed as possible, allowing you to enjoy powder runs to your heart's content, which is one of the attractions of the resort.

Lift fees are generally reasonably priced, with a weekday season pass costing just 12,000 yen. From the top of the slope, you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the mountains of Nagano and Niigata.

The restaurant also offers free pickled Nozawana leaves, handmade by local mothers, which is very popular with visitors.

30th anniversary since the ski resort opened!

Sakae Club Ski Resort is celebrating its 30th anniversary this season. To commemorate this milestone, there are special events planned almost every weekend, including a 30th anniversary ski resort festival and special lift ticket sales.

A very advantageous "birthday discount"

There is also a special discount where if you purchase a one-day lift ticket on your birthday, it will be half price, regardless of whether it is a weekend or a holiday. For example, if you were born on June 8th, your lift ticket will be half price on the 8th of every month during the season.

What's more, the offer is generous and only applies to the person whose birthday it is and up to one accompanying person. When purchasing, don't forget to show proof of your birthday, such as a driver's license.
