A ski slope in the sky where the finest powder snow in Honshu accumulates

The top of the mountain is over 1,800m above sea level, and the north-facing slopes mean that Tengendai Highlands boasts impressive snowfall and snow quality that is said to be "the best powder in Honshu." It also boasts a long season that lasts six months, from early December to Golden Week in May

The long, vertical layout offers a variety of slopes, including an open powder zone with ungroomed snow. During the peak season, you can enjoy an ultra-long run of 6km. There is also an environment where you can go out into the backcountry from the slopes

At the base are Shirabu Onsen and Shintakayu Onsen, which have the atmosphere of hidden hot springs, and you can also enjoy skiing and snowboarding from a hot spring inn
