With the Shiga Kogen common lift ticket, you can ski at all 18 ski resorts for 5,500 yen per day for adults and 2,700 yen for children. With one ticket, you can ride the lifts at any slope, eliminating the need to buy another ticket. Available at the counters of each ski resort
The area's leading large ski resort | Shiga Kogen Yakebitaiyama

Located deep in the heart of Shiga Kogen, this vast ski resort has three base areas and two mountain peaks. Nicknamed "Yakebi," it attracts many visitors due to the wide variety of courses. The top is 2,000 meters above sea level, and the longest run is 2,500 meters. Not only is it a renowned resort, but it also attracts many dedicated skiers due to the fact that it receives some of the best powder snow in Honshu.

The area near the summit offers a particularly beautiful view of Shiga Kogen, with a magnificent panoramic view. The Higashidateyama Olympic Course is a challenging course with a maximum slope of 36 degrees and a distance of 1,600 meters.

A wide, large run with a highly challenging mogul course | Takamagahara Mammoth

This slope is characterized by a wide single run. On the left side of the slope, there are mogul slopes, each one deep. Furthermore, it is tilted to one side, making it more difficult than it looks, so mogul lovers should definitely give it a try.

There are four courses and four lifts, and there is a wide variety of slopes, including steep slopes, gentle slopes, and mogul courses. This is a ski resort that can be enjoyed by skiers of all levels, from advanced to beginners. It is also open for night skiing, so it is recommended for those who want to enjoy it until late at night.

Ultra-wide slopes recommended for beginners and intermediate skiers | Ichinose Diamond and Yama no Kami

Ichinoseyama no Kami is connected to Shiga Kogen Yakebitaiyama and can be accessed by skiing. Ichinose Diamond has a wide slope. The average slope is gentle, at 9 to 12 degrees, making it perfect for beginners to practice.

Romantic skiing through the forest | Tanne Forest Ermine

This unique slope features natural vegetation of trees such as Japanese anemone and white birch within the course. The course that weaves through the trees has a maximum slope of 12 degrees, making it perfect for beginners. You can enjoy a unique experience of exploring on skis.
