Fully utilizing the know-how of a traditional specialty store in our guide services
Tyrol was founded in 1968 in front of Toyama Station as a mountaineering equipment specialty store. Since its founding, the store has offered mountaineering, climbing, backcountry skiing, and canoeing equipment to help visitors enjoy the mountains and nature safely and comfortably. It also offers a wide range of mountaineering information and technical advice, leveraging its extensive experience.
Tyrol offers not only carefully selected gear but also "software," with professional mountain guide Iwao Saeki guiding visitors through various tours throughout the year. In winter, the store offers backcountry ski tours of Toyama, including Mt. Tateyama, ensuring the ideal mountain experience for everyone, from beginners to those striving for greater heights.
Private guides are available for 30,000 yen per day for up to three people. Planned tours start at 11,000 yen per person. On-piste sessions and seminars are also available.
