A stylish new model with a "Japanese" feel

For those who want to fully enjoy the skiing experience, including not only skiing but also enjoying the scenery, meeting people, and après-ski activities, the "Extra Exclusive Collection," also known as the "XX COLLECTION," which debuted last year, is a high-end model that offers a blissful moment. Now, a new model has been added to the collection

The collection, which is described as "bringing new color and enjoyment to skiers' lifestyles with its luxurious ride and metallic texture that shows various expressions depending on the light," comes in two versions: the "U-XX/BL," based on the Unity which is characterized by its mild ride, and the "KS-XX/BR," which is based on the Keo's which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, but with a redesigned look

Let's take a look at the features of this remarkable model that embodies the brand's spirit, condensing elements of Japanese nature, craftsmanship, playfulness, and a will for the future

[Limited Quantity] "U-XX/BL" that evokes the power of cherry blossoms

The UNITY series, representative of Ogisaka Skis, best embodies the brand's philosophy that "the true joy of skiing comes when you can ski exactly as you want." Since its debut in 1977, it has been a beloved classic for nearly half a century. It is probably the only model in Japan that has been in production for nearly 50 years. Now, the "U-XX/BL" has appeared as a premium model in this series

While retaining the mild ride of the UNITY, it adds a sense of solidity that allows it to conquer even rough powder. As a ski for adults who truly enjoy leisurely time, every detail has been carefully considered

Core material model: Cherry wood is used in the darker colored central part

Sakura Core

The core is reinforced with beech wood on both sides, and cherry wood is used in the center for superior maneuverability and stability, suppressing rattling. This
achieves both crisp responsiveness and solid stability.

Metal Top Protector

The metal cover on top is adorned with cherry blossom petals and a Japanese flag motif, which are also used in the core material

Moon Cut Tail

The tail features a crescent-shaped cut, supporting stable turns and agile, low-resistance movements

In addition, it features a unique side curve design that connects multiple arcs, called "Multi Arc Jointed Curve," which enables optimal control at every stage of a turn, and a camber shape called "Special Camber Profile" that allows you to enjoy riding in any situation without worrying about the snow surface

The complete model comes with bindings that improve stability and maneuverability

The design is also distinctive, inspired by the traditional indigo blue "JAPAN BLUE," with a marble pattern on the top and tail, and a center section representing "Japanese Denim." The hope is that this high-quality, one-of-a-kind item will be cherished and worn for a long time, just like a pair of jeans that you grow attached to over time

A modern reproduction of the brand's former logo, modeled after a white hawk, is featured in the center

Beyond functionality, the design also boasts meticulous attention to detail. Each ski's tail features a playful message, different for each length, from the skis—your "partner"—to the rider

For example, the 167cm skis feature a warm message typical of "Mother Ski": "DON'T WORRY IF YOU FALL. I'LL ALWAYS BE HERE UNDER YOU." The 160cm skis have a more edgy message: "BEAUTIFUL LINE! THOUGH, I DID DO MOST OF THE WORK."

"Unity," also known as "Mother Ski," is the prototype for all the series. As its positioning suggests, the core of it all is "ENJOY," or "having fun." Even after 114 years, it continues to return to its roots. That attitude is truly admirable

The series' evolution can be seen chronologically

[Limited Quantity] Experience the suppleness of bamboo with the "KS-XX/BR"

This limited-edition model, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the technically-oriented all-around model KEO'S, retains the same performance as last year's sold-out model, but features a wood-grain-inspired design

The "Front Lead Function" increases edge grip by lengthening the contact length of the edge with the snow as the edge angle deepens. This technology makes it easier and faster to angle the board, and also makes it easier to create flex. It works in conjunction with the "Front Float System," a front rocker shape that distributes snow resistance at the top of the board, enabling stable and smooth turns

The core material is "Bamboo Core," which features beech wood on both sides for increased durability and bamboo positioned in the center. This allows for a flexible yet powerful rebound similar to that of bamboo

Core material model: Two bamboo poles are placed in the center

Furthermore, as the origin of the carving model that has continued since 1996, the top sheet, engraved with the words "THE ORIGIN OF CARVING MODEL SINCE 1996," exudes a unique atmosphere with its translucent metallic texture

Beyond its luxurious feel, its transparency is particularly striking

Both are limited-edition models that come with a ski band exclusive to the XX COLLECTION, making them special pieces that will appeal to collectors

Sales are limited to in-store purchases only. Early reservations made by July 31st will qualify for a service to create a plate with your desired name printed on it
