Backcountry – tag –
Backcountry refers to skiing and snowboarding in natural snowy mountains, away from ski resorts and other developed areas. It's popular among enthusiasts because of the appeal of climbing the mountain on your own and skiing on new snow and steep slopes that no one else has skied on. However, it also comes with risks such as avalanches, falls, weather changes, and getting lost. To enjoy it safely, knowledge and skills such as map reading, avalanche prevention, and self-rescue are essential. Beginners are recommended to join a guided tour, and remember that accidents are your own responsibility
