Koga Hoshino
is from Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture.
He has been on the slopes since he was a child, starting at Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort. In the 2022 FWQ, he won first place in two consecutive domestic competitions, qualifying for the world championships. Furthermore, in November 2024, he became the first Japanese person to win first place in the world-renowned street riding video contest, "B-DOG OFF THE LEASH ONLINE VIDEO CONTEST."
