Katashina village at the foot of Oze. Located in the northeastern part of Gunma Prefecture, this area surrounded by 2,000m-class mountains is known for its magnificent nature and the high-quality snow that falls in winter.
Kojiro Hara, Miwa Tateyama, and Keisuke Katayanagi are three NORRØNA riders based in Katashina Village.
What they all have in common is that they are snowboarders who were drawn to the richness of this land and chose to live in harmony with its nature.
This is a 9-minute short film that explores what they think is the charm of Katashina and the details of their activities.
Although it is located about two and a half hours by car from Tokyo, there are various ways to enjoy it, such as powder, swamps, terrain play, and backcountry, and the more you visit, the more you will be absorbed in its depth.

is a mountaineering guide/snowboarder whose main activities are trekking in the summer and snowboarding lessons in the winter.
Launching the guide club "goma seal", in addition to basic lessons, deep R carving turns, terrain play and powder lessons, and back country tours for beginners are also planned.

Keisuke Katayanagi
is a mountaineering guide and snowboarder who launched his own guide company "DrawLine" in the winter of 2019.
He works as a backcountry guide for skiing and snowboarding, mainly in the mountains of Gunma and Niigata in the winter, and in Oze, the Kanto region, Niigata and Nagano in the summer.

Katashina Village is the only "heavy snowfall area" in the Kanto region in winter, and is full of unique nature such as Oze and Mt. Nikko-Shirane during the green season.
