The second day of recording for LOVE SKI HOKKAIDO, where Hokkaido's most famous skiers ski all over Hokkaido
To fully enjoy Sapporo, the two stayed at the GARDENSCABIN hotel in the city. This business hotel was built in 2019. It has a large public bath equipped with a Finnish-style sauna and is very popular with young people and business people alike. It offers the welcome service of private rooms at a reasonable price comparable to a capsule hotel, allowing guests to relax and unwind.
Sapporo has many business hotels, each offering comfortable services. One of Sapporo's charms is that you won't have any trouble finding a place to stay after skiing, even if they aren't directly operated by the ski resorts

Leaving the hotel, we headed to Sapporo Teine in the Teine district, which is popular among freeskiers that day

Unfortunately, there had not been enough snowfall by the time of the recording, and the famous North Wall slope, with a maximum gradient of 35 degrees, and the Women's Giant Slalom had not yet opened
So the two of them ski down the Olympia Zone. The slopes are a mix of steep and steep slopes, making it a great feeling to ski down. This is another attraction not to be missed

This is the view you see when you get off the first lift to the Olympic cauldron. It's the familiar city of Sapporo, but no matter how many times you see it, the combination of snow, the city, and the sea is a spectacular sight.
After enjoying the view, I immediately head out to ski.
Their favorite spots are the Olympic Cauldron Ocean Cruise and the Olympic Cauldron Ocean Stream. Although the courses are compact with varying slopes and complex terrain changes, they can become extremely difficult depending on how you ski

After enjoying carving at Sapporo Teine, we recorded a talk at the "Salomon Experience Base" that day.
This place is located very close to Sapporo Bankei Ski Resort and stocks a wide variety of ski and trail running products. As it is directly operated by the manufacturer, you can get your hands on the latest gear and gather information.

Later that night, we headed to Sapporo Bankei Ski Resort, which is about a 5-minute drive from there
Bankei's ski school is home to the Bankei Ski School, where Iyama is a member. When the two visit Iyama's home slope, they unexpectedly meet Susumu Ogura, Sasaki's coach from his junior and senior high school days. Akira Sasaki and his coach reminisce about their past

This concludes Day 2. On Day 3, we head back to Sapporo International. With the cold air moving in and snowfall from the night skiing at Sapporo Bankei, the slopes look to be in good condition for Day 3. This is the advantage of Sapporo, where you can choose where to ski depending on the conditions
Stay tuned for day 3!
The broadcast will be on January 30th at 1:20 AM on TV Hokkaido (broadcast only in the Hokkaido region).
