"LOVE SKI HOKKAIDO" is a television program set in Hokkaido, featuring two of Japan's leading skiers, Iyama Keisuke and Sasaki Akira, as its main cast members
The two men's exceptional skiing skills and conversational abilities are brilliantly showcased, generating laughter among viewers.
Furthermore, the various coincidences they encounter in each episode combine to make it a must-see TV program that is both funny and touching.
LOVE SKI HOKKAIDO has previously traveled around Hokkaido's ski resorts, sharing the joys of skiing. This time, it's a Sapporo trip, a special edition featuring a three-day tour of the city's ski resorts, shops, and restaurants. Skiing isn't just about skiing. Let's enjoy it as a ski trip, with two or three days to spare. Sapporo
is a large city with a population of approximately 2 million, yet it receives abundant snowfall and has six ski resorts in close proximity. It's an exceptionally well-preserved environment, unparalleled even on a global scale.
In this episode, locals Iyama and Sasaki will enjoy Sapporo, where you can enjoy food and skiing while staying in the city.

This time, we will report on the three-day recording in three parts
On the first day, we went to Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort. Did trouble occur right away?

On the first day of filming, we headed to Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort to shoot the first tracks of the day.
We were supposed to meet at 7:00, but Iyama didn't show up...
When he contacted him, he found out that he had apparently left his gear at home and had turned back halfway through... An amusing incident immediately occurred, sending Akira Sasaki into fits of laughter

Iyama started his YouTube channel "ZuruTube" last year. He collaborates with various skiers on this channel, and it's a show guaranteed to make you laugh, so be sure to check it out!
For LOVE SKI HOKKAIDO, only the schedule and destination are decided in advance, and the type of footage that can be captured depends on the circumstances of the day. You never know what will happen each time, and interesting things happen when the performers' moods and coincidences come together
We met up safely and got on the first track of the morning

The appeal of skiing isn't just about the act of skiing itself. Who you ski with and where you ski is what's important.
Once you put on your skis, you're all friends. That kind of spirit radiates from these two. The fact that these two, who work in completely different fields, are skiing so joyfully is proof of that.
The conditions are good in the afternoon, so we continue filming.

Not satisfied with just skiing during the day, we headed to night skiing. The location was Mt. Moiwa Ski Resort, which overlooks the city of Sapporo. What's particularly noteworthy about Sapporo is that despite being a major city representing Hokkaido, there are six ski resorts within the city, and Mt. Moiwa is in an excellent location, just 20 to 30 minutes from the city center. It's a rare place in the world where you can ski while watching the city's night view
Iyama invited Sasaki to skate with him, wanting to enjoy the night view

This concludes the first day of filming.
Sapporo has several ski resorts clustered together about 30 minutes by car from the city center.
Each ski resort has its own unique character, offering a wide variety of ways to enjoy yourself. The appeal lies in being able to choose a location that suits the conditions of the day, the slopes you want to ski, and your preferred skiing style.
On the second day, the two will ski at Sapporo Teine and Sapporo Bankei. Stay tuned!
