HAKUBAVALLEY Tsugaike Kogen Overview

Tsugaike Kogen is one of the largest in HAKUBA VALLEY. From the summit at 1,704m above sea level to the base of the mountain, there is an elevation difference of about 900m. You can run down a long groomed run of over 5km

The upper part of the slope has a tree run area that also provides access to the backcountry area. The lower part is made up of two parts, with wide, gentle slopes that are the largest in Japan. A long course with a medium slope connects the two parts. In total, there are 14 courses, with one gondola and 18 lifts

"TSUGA POW DBD" is a must-see for powder lovers. The system allows you to ski in the "Tsuga Pow" area, located at the top of the gondola. Before you can ski, you must attend a lecture on the potential dangers and skiing precautions in this pristine natural area, and receive an armband. This ski resort is a great opportunity for beginners to experience backcountry skiing, as it also teaches you about safety and personal responsibility
