The 2025-2026 season is scheduled to open on Friday, November 21st, one of the earliest opening dates in Hokkaido. The season usually ends by Golden Week, meaning that Sapporo Kokusai offers approximately six months of ultra-class log runs for skiing. Despite this, it's incredibly accessible from Sapporo, boasts excellent snow quality, and is popular for its long runs, varied terrain, and fun courses. Considering the number of ski days, it's hard to find a season pass that offers such good value for money. Season passes can be purchased online or at the venue. If you've also purchased a pass from last season, you'll receive an additional discount

Kiroro is close to Sapporo city, so it's easy to make a day trip even if you're staying in Sapporo. [Hokkaido Area] Snow Cruise Owns (Discontinued)

The discounted super discount season pass is only available for purchases made in August

Snow Cruise Owns is easily accessible, about 40 minutes by car from Sapporo and Otaru, and offers views that make you feel like you're jumping into the sea. [Tohoku Area] Appi Kogen Ski Resort (Iwate Prefecture)

Appi Kogen has been highly praised both in Japan and overseas, having been selected as Japan's Best Ski Resort 2023 at the WORLD SKI AWARDS 2023. [Tohoku Area] Hachimantai Resort Panorama & Shimokura (Iwate Prefecture)


Early bird season tickets are available until December 14th for intense powder practice in Shimokura, where core members gather in search of the best powder

This highland resort stretches out on the north side of Mt. Iwate and is made up of Panorama Ski Resort, which spreads out behind the base of Hachimantai Mountain Hotel, and Shimokura Ski Resort, which unfolds on the eastern slope of Mt. Shimokura, a corner of Hachimantai. The resort is characterized by its different types of skiing: Panorama is for relaxing and enjoying resort life in hot springs, while Shimokura is for pounding the powder. Shimokura Ski Resort is home to the finest powder known as "ultralight powder," which has extremely little moisture. In addition to the slopes, it also offers four types of tree run areas where you can fully enjoy the powder. It is well known that hardy skiers gather to aim for the "Shimokura Wall," which has a maximum gradient of 37 degrees

[Tohoku Area] Tengendai Ski Resort (Yamagata Prefecture)

Season passes to the ski slopes, which boast a 6-month long season, are

Located in the southern part of the 2,000m-class Ou Mountains, the resort boasts an elevation of over 1,800m at its top, and its north-facing slopes boast snow quality that's said to be "the finest powder in Honshu." A ropeway takes you straight to the plateau, with an elevation difference of 1,350m, and it feels like a "piste in the sky." The vertical layout makes use of the natural terrain, offering a wide variety of slopes, and there are even ungroomed powder zones where you can exit the slopes into the backcountry. In the peak season, you can enjoy ultra-long runs of up to 6km

Tengendai is also known for its incredibly long season. This season, the slopes are scheduled to pre-open after the Winter Mountain Safety Prayer Ceremony (from 10:00 AM) on Friday, November 21st

[Tohoku Area] Hoshino Resorts Nekoma Mountain (Fukushima Prefecture)

It is one of the largest snow resorts in Japan, divided into the South Area (formerly Alts Bandai), where you can enjoy open skiing with views of the majestic Mount Bandai and Lake Inawashiro, and the North Area (formerly Nekoma Ski Resort), where the north-facing slopes are at a higher altitude and receive light snow, allowing you to enjoy a long season that continues into spring. This entire area is famous for its heavy snowfall, and during the peak season, the snowfall consistently exceeds 500 cm, making it truly extraordinary. [Yuzawa Area] Maiko Snow Resort (Niigata Prefecture)

Get a great deal with early bird discounts until the end of September!

Just one minute from Shiozawa Ishiuchi IC, this location is incredibly convenient for those who drive. The slopes are divided into three areas, with a total of 26 runs to satisfy everyone from beginners and kids to experts, with the longest run being approximately 6,000m. Taking advantage of the rich natural terrain, Maiko is steadily expanding its ungroomed snow and tree run runs, especially in the Okusoji area. Many of the runs face north, and the powdery Uonuma snow has accumulated, making it the perfect freeride zone

Season passes are on sale from September 1st at an early bird price. During September, they are discounted by 8,000 yen from the regular price, and from October to November, they are discounted by 5,000 yen. During the 2024-2025 season, the 3,193m Tsumagoi Gondola will operate from 6:30 AM on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, and from 8:00 AM on weekdays. Once you reach the summit at an elevation of 2,100 meters, you'll enjoy skiing to your heart's content on the beautifully groomed, freshly packed runs. Palcol Tsumagoi, which has been overwhelmingly popular with young snowboarders in recent years and has been garnering attention for its various initiatives, including events and a well-equipped park, has now begun selling season passes.

Palcol Tsumagoi's season pass has a unique system in which the price increases based on the total number of tickets sold. The lowest price was the first 150 tickets sold after the start of sales. As of August 26th, the price for 601-850 tickets is ¥33,275 for adults. For 851-1,000 tickets, the price drops to ¥36,600. As sales increase toward the start of the season, the price increases. [Nationwide Area] NSD Kids Program

The NSD Kids Program is run by Nippon Ski Resort Development to provide an opportunity for children to experience winter sports. Located in the heart of Japan, Shiga Kogen's appeal lies in its "grand scale." The total skiable area of ​​its 18 ski resorts is an astounding 425 hectares.
