It has been announced that Tomamu Slopestyle Park at Hoshino Resorts Tomamu, Hokkaido's premier resort for long stays, will be powered up for a limited time from March 1st to 31st, 2022. The best part of slopestyle is trying out tricks in the flow of a long course made up of various elements and expressing your own style, and now you have the chance to experience the fun and charm of slopestyle for yourself

Making slopestyle accessible to everyone

Tomamu Slopestyle Park was created by Hoshino Resorts Tomamu with the desire to "allow as many skiers and snowboarders as possible, from beginners to advanced skiers, to experience and enjoy slopestyle." The equipment has been carefully constructed and set up so that even first-timers can enjoy slopestyle safely, and diggers carefully maintain it every day using heavy machinery and manual labor. What's more, dedicated staff will even provide one-point lessons to first-time slopestylers to ensure they can enjoy it safely, providing the ultimate in support

Tomamu Slopestyle Park: Three Power-Up Points

Hoshino Resorts Tomamu has previously operated a big park with three lanes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced skill levels, boasting the largest number of items in Hokkaido, but this March it will undergo a major upgrade. How will it evolve? Let's take a closer look

1. 900 meters long! Tomamu Slopestyle Park expands in size and number of items

The total number of items at Tomamu Slopestyle Park will increase from 20 to 32. The number of kickers and wave items has increased, and the total length has expanded from 360 meters to 900 meters. A maximum of 14 items can be attempted in one run, making even a single run a fulfilling experience. In addition to beginner, intermediate, and advanced lanes, there will also be an ultra-advanced lane where you can take on extra-large kickers and other challenging items. Here are the details:

Beginner's LaneThis lane is recommended for beginners and allows you to enjoy it safely. Banks have been added, allowing you to experience the fun of slopestyle beyond just "flying."
Intermediate laneThis lane is perfect for stepping up to advanced skiing. It features kickers and boxes sized just right for practice.
The three consecutive kickers have been upgraded to six consecutive kickers, allowing you to try a variety of tricks in one run.
Advanced LaneThe facility will offer even higher quality equipment to help riders step up to the top level, with kickers ranging from 9 to 11 meters and several types of boxes and rails
Super Advanced LaneFor a limited time, the resort will feature the largest kicker and other challenging items

Soar into the air with the giant kicker!

The super advanced lane will feature the largest kicker in Hokkaido, measuring 18 meters. Experience the overwhelming floating sensation that only an extra-large kicker can provide. With a size that even professional-level riders can attempt highly difficult tricks, it will also serve as a training ground for improving technical skills. Calling all skiers and snowboarders who want to "go even further"!

Even if you're new to slopestyle, you can join with confidence
