Located at the foot of Mount Kannabe, a rare sight in Japan with a volcanic crater remaining, Kannabe Plateau in Hyogo Prefecture offers a variety of activities as a ski resort in winter and a summer slope in summer. The vast grounds are all covered in natural grass, which is carefully maintained every day. It is beautiful to look at and comfortable even just to lie down on. There is no doubt that you will feel refreshed in the crisp air of the plateau
The longest moving belt in Japan! 150m in length

The Uenodaira Superway serves as an alternative to the lifts in winter. After climbing the 150-meter moving walkway, the longest in Japan, you can enjoy long cruises on the natural grass course
A wealth of activities that one day won't be enough

At Uenohira Ski Resort, you'll find a wide variety of activities for everyone from toddlers to adults, including grass skiing, buggy cross, green drives, and Strider bikes (a type of balance bike), as well as mini-golf, sledding, trampolines, and swings. The fact that you can change activities for free is a nice bonus.
Beyond just downhill skiing, you can even enjoy panoramic views from 30 meters above ground in a hot air balloon. For those who feel one day isn't enough, there's the Kannabe Kogen Campsite and the nearby Kannabe Onsen (hot spring), so you can relax and enjoy yourself
A mountain bike park that is safe even for beginners

In 2019, a new mountain biking field, "UP MTB PARK IN KANNABE," was opened, where women, children, and beginners can enjoy themselves safely. The course was supervised by professional MTB rider Hiroshi Atou. The only "mountain bike-only lift" in the Kansai region has also been installed, allowing you to ride the lift all the way to the top of the mountain. Riders board first, and staff will then place their bikes in the next bike carrier. Be sure to watch the video to learn how to board and dismount beforehand
Check out the riding video, which lets you feel the refreshing breeze of the plateau, and start imagining yourself descending briskly
