Jiyuya Summer Slope is a popular place to enjoy outdoor activities in an open environment surrounded by the rich nature of Shizukuishi. The vast grounds are divided into the "Water Jump Area," "Jib Area," and "Skateboard Area," and you can enjoy each area freely. It is
especially popular on rainy days when the speed increases, and is open except in strong winds, so even serious advanced riders can be satisfied. There are also many support riders, and the area provides ample support to the riders.
Water Jump Area
The Water Jump Area is an exhilarating attraction where you can ski or snowboard down a slope covered with plastic brush and jump into the pool. There are three lines of varying difficulty, designed to allow you to gradually improve.
Previously, it was mainly used as a training facility for sports, but renovations have broadened the ways in which it can be enjoyed, and more people are now enjoying it as a form of recreation. With parental supervision, children as young as four can try it, so it can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
Jib Area
Similar to the water jump, you can ski or snowboard down a slope covered with plastic brush, and practice jib items such as boxes and rails. Currently, there are two items installed: boxes and PVC rails
Skateboarding Area
The skateboarding area is divided into four sections, and mainly features a skate rampage and bowl for beginners to intermediate skaters. For those new to skateboarding, there is a free, basic advice service available. Another
great feature is that the changing rooms, showers, toilets, rest areas, and lockers within the facility are all available for free.
