Now, HOJI has finally produced what 4FRNT skiers have been asking for for years: a camber ski that offers downhill performance with a comfortable weight for touring. Developer HOJI has named this new model "Cue the NEVAR (Let's flip the Raven)."
Its appeal lies in its underfoot camber and balanced flex, which maintains ample edge hold and maximum stability even in hard, shifting snowpack. And when quick reactions and slashing speed are required, the quick tip and tail lift allows for easy and efficient release from turns. This ski is designed to balance 4FRNT's award-winning river camber ski selection and expand its reach to an even wider range of skiers.
This season's model features original white room prototyping graphics for test marketing. Due to the layup process, each ski will have slight visual differences. Sales in Japan will begin on 25/26, but test rides will be available at various shops during the 2024-2025 season. Come and try it out!
Back in 2002, Matt Sterbenz, a rider from the East Coast who had been active in Level 1 Films movies and freeski competitions like the US Open, began building skis in his garage with the idea of creating his own original skis. 4FRNT SKI has grown into a true riders' company, with fellow pros who shared Matt's vision creating and selling their own signature models.
Currently, MSP models are manufactured at Elan's factory, boasting world-class quality. All other models are still handmade. Since the days when LINE founder and former president Jason Levinsol of J SKI managed 4FRNT, each ski has been meticulously crafted at the Courtesy factory in Toronto, Canada. Each ski, whether for powder, park, or all-around skiing, has consistently garnered attention in the freeskiing world with its innovative ideas and designs.
The top models of the HJORLEIFSON COLLECTION, developed by professional freeride skier Erik Hoji, such as "RENEGADE" and "HOJI", are extremely popular and have received high praise for their quality, winning prizes in US ski magazines
