Since the logo renewal in 2018, the Ascent series has symbolized the new Goldwin brand in snow wear. It has attracted a wide range of ski fans with its multi-functionality and minimal beauty design that can be used in any field from on-piste to backcountry skiing. Among them, Katsuyuki Kono, Yusuke Fukasawa, Kazushige Sekiya, and the three Goldwin riders, “Arris Jacket” is a standard model of the brand. It is a three-layered garment that uses Gore-Tex, and is made with ergonomically designed draping and crosscutting patterns to create a shape that makes it easy for skiers to move. The color has been updated for the 2022 season.

BRAND features

The history of Goldwin began in 1950 at a small factory called Tsuzawa Knit Factory in Toyama Prefecture.

In 1958, we started production of our original brand "Goldwin" as a manufacturer specializing in sportswear. In the ski world, we have been the official supplier of the British national team in the past and the Swedish national team since 1987, and our brand value has reached the top level in the world. In Japan, we also support the activities of the Japanese national ski and snowboard team "SNOW JAPAN" as an official uniform supplier for "Division 3" (moguls, ski cross, snowboard cross, aerial). While always leading the scene, he has also broadened his horizons to the everyday life of people who love sports, and started the 2016 “LIFESTYLE” collection.

The high functionality and minimal and sophisticated fashion created by the technological capabilities cultivated over a long history have captured the hearts of users who are particular about choosing their own style and items. In 2018, the logo mark was renewed with the aim of proposing more attractive products and worldviews, starting with skiing, which is the center of the brand. The Goldwin logo symbol, which is composed of three elements, expresses the trajectory and speed of skiing, silhouettes of nature and mountains, and dynamism and energy.
