New functions further enhance the durability and compatibility of the PIVOT series
LOOK's classic model, PIVOT, is a classic binding that has attracted enthusiastic fans, especially among freestyle skiers, as it is equipped with the most reliable features for skiers, such as shock absorption and the longest elastic travel to prevent unexpected pre-release, a short mounting zone that allows for neutral and natural movement, seven touch points that enable instant and highly precise power transmission, and a turntable heel piece that supports release along the tibia
Continuing from last year, "BLUE STEEL," the signature color of "PIVOT 2.0," features a metallic blue hue that blends seamlessly with the frozen mountains, making it a binding designed to conquer even the most technical slopes with the same style as walking down a runway.
New features include an expanded range of boot sole length adjustment, a new DIN setting screw, a 105mm brake that accommodates various ski shapes and sizes, and bumpers to reduce damage to edges and poles during attachment and detachment, further enhancing both versatility and durability.
Starting next season, all PIVOT series models except "BLUE STEEL" will be updated to version 2.0, and new colors "ORANGE METAL" and "BLACK METAL" will also be introduced.
"ORANGE METAL," inspired by fiery sunsets and adventurous days, is not just a color, but an empowerment for skiers who want to challenge their limits and liven up the slopes.
Inspired by a minimalist aesthetic that symbolizes rebound, precision and power, the BLACK METAL collection is inspired by the muted tones of moonlit slopes. It's designed for skiers who speak volumes about conquering the mountain
LOOK was founded in France in 1951 as a ski binding manufacturer. Since then, it has gained global recognition not only for ski bindings but also as a pioneer in bicycle pedals and carbon frames, becoming one of the most coveted brands among cyclists, bringing innovative technology and design to the world
LOOK's "PIVOT" bindings, equipped with their traditional rotary heel plate, feature a unique mechanism where the heel plate rotates and releases during a fall. The rotation axis is directly beneath the tibia, reducing stress on the bone during falls and providing excellent swing balance. These safe and reliable ski bindings are highly regarded by freestyle skiers in park and pipe, moguls, and other disciplines.
Incidentally, Henrik Harlaut (SWE), a globally popular park skier who has won 10 medals at the Winter X-Games and been named North America's "Skier of the Year" seven times, also uses LOOK bindings, and has released a signature model.
