The "ACE Collection" has evolved even further
Elan's Onpiste series had previously been divided into several series tailored to different target groups, from the competition-spec "ACE Collection" for professional athletes to the PRIMETIME for intermediate and advanced skiers, and entry-level models for beginners. For the '26-27 season, all of these were unified into a single "ACE Collection." Along with this, a drastic change occurred: models featuring the "asymmetrical structure (Amphibio)," which had long been synonymous with the brand, disappeared from the lineup

Up until now, the development goal for the Elan has been to make a high-performance model accessible to as many people as possible, and the asymmetrical design has long been adopted as the optimal solution to achieve this
Now, with the advent of a new technology called "Active Suspension Drive," which surpasses the advantages of asymmetry, there is no longer any need to rely on asymmetry
The technology that creates a sense of stability as if the skis are glued to the snow surface is called "Active Suspension Drive." The secret lies in the convex surface of the ski, which is circled in yellow in the diagram above. The 3D-designed convex structure of the ski surface has an elastomer built in to absorb impact, and the reinforcing structure that overlaps it transmits the force to the snow surface without loss the moment a load is applied
This direct power link ensures reliable edge grip, rebound, and powerful propulsion when needed, allowing the skis to respond smoothly to the next movement. This enables stress-free and intuitive control
Furthermore, the nose section features a "Traction Tip" that precisely controls torsional balance, improving adaptability to uneven terrain and changing landscapes. This achieves both smooth turn initiation and vibration reduction, allowing the skis to move exactly as intended. The result is a natural and refined feel
