In snowy mountains, fresh snow falls during the peak season, and granular snow appears in early spring. Skiing situations vary. Ideally, you'd have a pair of skis that you could use to enjoy skiing anywhere, anytime during the season. The advice of a pro shop, who can test ride numerous models on the snow and compare and evaluate products based on their extensive knowledge and user feedback, is persuasive. I mainly skied with these boards in the 2024-2025 season. They felt a little wide, but they handled both packed snow and powder well. I think skis with a waist width of around 95mm to 100mm are good for all-around skiing, but I think they were a good fit for a snowy season like this one
