Bantei ~Bamboo Tail~ | Proven techniques and accurate guiding by a professional snowboarder with over 20 years of experience | Nagano Prefecture

Various activities based in Hakuba

This backcountry guide club is led by Yu Takeo, a professional snowboarder with over 20 years of guiding experience. Based in Hakuba, the club operates in a variety of areas, including backcountry tours, beginner training courses, expeditions, and a K2 new model test center.
Yu Takeo, the representative and chief guide of Bantei, is trusted by many for his solid skills and accurate guiding, and is also committed to raising awareness of backcountry safety. He also develops beacon checkers and provides consulting services to resorts.

Bantei offers a wide variety of backcountry tours

Backcountry tours are held mainly in the Omachi, Hakuba, Otari, and Itoigawa areas. The Hakuba area is so vast that even guides who ski every day can't ski all the lines. The area's appeal lies in its remote locations and the long ski runs thanks to the many lift-accessible areas.

Guiding is based on safety as a top priority, ensuring satisfaction for all guests, from those trying backcountry skiing for the first time to experienced backcountry skiers of all ages. Lessons are also held to help improve your skills.

This is a backcountry tour for guests who are new to backcountry skiing and don't know how to use a beacon or about backcountry skiing. Participation fee: 11,550 yen (photos included) (If there is only one participant, the tour will be held for an additional 4,400 yen)
* Rental gear and lift ticket fees are separate
