Guiding with authentic methods from Austria, the mountain kingdom
Backcountry Glide Niseko is run by Atsushi Horie, an Austrian nationally certified mountain ski guide and ski instructor. Based on the Austrian mountain and ski method, the company offers backcountry guide services at three locations: the Niseko main campus, the Tateyama branch, and the Gassan branch.
In winter, they offer guide and lesson programs in their own unique style in the mountains of Niseko, Hokkaido, and in spring in the Northern Alps' Tateyama. You can enjoy European-style powder sessions, backcountry tours, and lessons!

Jun Horie
I came to Austria in search of skiing techniques and lived in Tyrol for 15 years. I believe that technique is nurtured by tradition, culture, and nature, and should not be biased. This inevitably led to my current work style. I am both a ski instructor and a guide. When it comes to skiing, I am particular about the outward leaning posture and the quality of the changes depending on the situation, and when it comes to slopes, I am extremely particular about the fall line
